On June 4-5, 2018, the 9th EU Strategy Forum for the Baltic Sea Region will take place in Tallinn. This is one of the largest annual Baltic events. In the field of interest of government representatives, the Commission and the European Parliament, local government, regional and local authorities, non-governmental organizations, associations, universities and business there are both broad political threads as well as specialized debates on improving cooperation in selected areas.
The main topic of this year’s Forum will be the Baltic Sea Region after 2020 – how to improve the implementation of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region in the context of the future cohesion policy. The organizers also want to focus on the digital dimension and the marine environment. About 700 participants are expected during this year’s Forum.
